Welcome to minipompom !

Today is a week before this store is launched. I am getting quite nervous actually ! I like most of the products I am selling (I was going to say "all" but I can't say I love every single piece, but 98% of them, I love), I'm beginning to wonder if majority of my potential customers like my products, and the idea of this online store.

Some of my friends have been shopping from minipompom, they all found something they love, so much so that I actually had to restock already ! 🤣

About Charity

We intend to make donations to some cat (or cat + dog) rescue organisations with part of the sales we make. At this point in time (19 June 2026), I have a few organisations in mind, mostly small ones, I will choose one to donate to by the time we launch.

I have two ideas in mind right now -

donate $10, $20, $30 and so on for every order above $300. It sounds very little, but shall we talk bigger numbers when we actually get a break-even (if ever !) ? We need to keep up a healthy business or else we can't even talk about giving.
Alternatively, we will choose some products, if you buy those, a portion of the price you pay will go to charity.

I am going to take the coming week to think thoroughly before announcing which way to go. It's not about how much to donate, but the logistics to publicise the donation receipts/results. Honestly, we are donating our revenue after all, not anyone else's money. That's why I don't want to "promote" this donation as if we're asking people to come and buy because we donate.

Lastly, if I may suggest you to read the T&Cs carefully. Let's try and avoid having issues, this is a place for fun, ok ?

我哋打算將部分收益捐俾一啲拯救貓貓（或者貓＋狗）嘅機構。去到今日（2026 年 6 月 19 日），我心目中已經有幾間機構，多數都係小型機構，到正式開張嗰陣我會揀定一間嚟捐款。

目前我有兩個諗法：

每一張 $300 以上嘅訂單，捐出 $10、$20、$30 如此類推。聽落好似好少，但不如等我哋真係做到收支平衡（希望有呢一日啦！）之後，先再講更大嘅數目？我哋需要維持一盤健康嘅生意，如果唔係連講捐錢嘅資格都冇。
另一個做法係，我哋會指定一啲產品，如果你買咗呢啲產品，部分收益就會撥作慈善用途。

我會用未來呢個禮拜認真諗清楚，然後先公布決定用邊個方案。其實重點唔係捐幾多，而係點樣公開捐款收據同結果嘅行政安排。老實講，我哋始終係捐緊自己嘅收入，而唔係其他人嘅錢，應該唔會太複雜啩？。所以我唔想將「捐錢」當做一種宣傳，搞到好似因為我哋有捐錢先叫大家嚟幫襯咁。

最後，想提提大家，麻煩購買之前仔細睇清楚啲條款與細則（T&Cs）呀。希望盡量避免之後有咩誤會啦，呢度係玩㗎咋, ok ?
